This is one of the best KOA campgrounds we have stayed in. Being just off of I-29, we used it to overnight on the way home from the Black Hills. However, it also being right on Blue Lake makes it a weekend destination in its own right. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. We had a nice pull-through lakefront site. We arrived just in time to see a great sunset over the lake. I highly recommend it.

This a well maintained campground with a friendly staff. It is located just off the interstate in the middle of a large cornfield, but being in full season the corn acted as a great muffler for the highway. Everything was immaculate and the pool was nice. The only downsides were that the hot water system could not keep up with he demand for showers and the wifi service was very weak. Otherwise, this is a great campground for an overnight stop on the way to another destination. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent campground. It is a very large property with fabulous views which include Harney Peak. It also a nice large meadow in the middle that is well maintained which is great for frisbee, catch or stargazing at night. We camped with a large popup #150 in the Lower Ranch Area. It was a walk up a hill to get to Restrooms and Showers, but it mattered little for us since we have facilities in our popup. Regardless, they were immaculate. The Wi-Fi was slow, but typical in our experience for campgrounds not located near urban or suburban areas. The pancake breakfast was both cheap and delicious. I highly recommend the campground and we plan to make another trip out to it and the Black Hills in the future.

This is a nice, safe and clean little city-run campground that has a great price. The campground Host was very friendly and helpful. There is some train noise, but it is not a problem if you are running an air conditioner fan. The small zoo next store is very nice as well. We stayed here in a popup camper while visiting Oregon Trail sites on the way to the Black Hills. I highly recommend it.
